It felt like ages since I’d painted orcas. I wish I had time to paint them every day.
Aaaand it’s done.
If you’re looking for a gift for the ocean lover in your life, I have several prints available in my etsy store! There’s still time for me to ship before the holiday; I will be absent from the 17th to the 29th, so be sure to get your order in!
Thank you for looking!
Morgan is such a precious little whale. The shapes of her markings have always struck me as being particularly beautiful.
Finally finished the orca pod I’ve been working on for about a week, on and off between work. There’s an in-progress screenshot on my Facebook page. I have a billion ideas for other things I want to draw/paint but I always end up coming back to orcas.

Pet hate of mine: Poor Photoshops of SeaWorld’s orcas ~*in the ocean*~ becoming so popular they are on the covers of books/calendars/posters

That face!

My wonderful man made me a new gallery viewer, and I added a page explaining my digital process as well as a new banner and colour palette. I’m currently working on a new acrylic painting, but finding time around work is proving rather difficult.
Hooray, it’s finished! Acrylic on 5x7 canvas. I may sell the original in the future. Actually finishing a painting feels awesome (and my fastest turnaround too - about three days, on and off).
If you’re a new follower and want to see more, here’s my website, and my Facebook page, where I post works in progress.
